SEI is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada with remote offices in Falls Church, Virginia which is located within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
SEI’s commitment to the education and training of IT Security Professionals is supported through its business relationship with the (ISC)2 Institute located in Vienna, Virginia. The (ISC)2 Institute is the education and certification arm of (ISC)2 , the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, known for its Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) professional certification.
The principals and instructors at SEI have delivered training to over 50,000 IT Professionals and IT Security Professionals during the past 10+ years. The recipients of the training have combined experience in areas of LAN/WAN, Internetworking, Network Management, and IT Security. Non-Vendor education and training includes (ISC)2’s CISSP®, SSCP®, and ISSEP® professional certifications. Vendor education and training includes Cisco Systems®, Microsoft®, PatchLink®, Hewlett-Packard®, Checkpoint®, Foundstone®, EnteraSys®, and others.
SEI provides curriculum, technology education/training consulting, consulting services, and development services in IT Security and Information Security topics. SEI operates three (3) business units each complimenting the other business units and service offerings.
